Area Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Recruit, train, and lead a team of Promotional Specialists to implement on- and off-premise sampling initiatives.

• Oversee daily market execution, manage staffing for promotions, coach Promotional Specialists, and communicate with client field marketing.

• Serve as the local liaison for client field marketing activities.

• Collect information regarding clients, products, industry trends, and competitive activities.

• Provide staffing for on-premise, off-premise, special, brand, and trade events.

• Conduct regular spot checks to ensure that quality standards align with client expectations.

• Offer training, guidance, expectations, and constructive feedback to Promotional Specialists.

• Address performance issues and resolve conflicts for part-time specialists.

• Manage inventories of promotional materials, storage units, client equipment, and other assets.

• Facilitate debriefing sessions and share insights with the Regional Sampling Manager and Directors.

• Monitor and audit daily budget expenditures and oversee program budgets.

• Complete expense reports, maintain event calendars, track execution against objectives, and keep accurate records.

• Ensure compliance with state regulations and the integrity of reported information.

⛳️ Requirements

• 1-3 years of experience in the adult beverage industry is preferred.

• Familiarity with on/off-premise marketing strategies is essential.

• Previous experience in a promotional agency is preferred.

• Strong problem-solving abilities, time management skills, and organizational capabilities.

• Ability to juggle multiple tasks and meet deadlines effectively.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook).

• Must be at least 21 years old.

• Reliable transportation is required.

• Access to a smartphone is necessary.

• Capability to lift and transport promotional materials and event assets as required.
