Area Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.

📋 Description

• Recruit, train, and oversee a team of Promotional Specialists to implement on- and off-premise sampling initiatives.

• Take responsibility for daily market execution, managing staffing promotions, and mentoring Promotional Specialists.

• Serve as the local liaison for client field marketing efforts.

• Collect client product and industry insights and report on competitive market activities.

• Staff on-premise, off-premise, brand, trade, and special events.

• Conduct regular inspections to ensure quality standards align with client expectations.

• Provide guidance, set expectations, offer constructive feedback, and lead personnel effectively.

• Address performance issues and resolve conflicts for part-time specialists.

• Oversee inventories of promotional materials, storage units, client equipment, and assets.

• Facilitate debriefing sessions and convey insights to the Regional Sampling Manager and Directors.

• Monitor and audit the budget spending of Promotional Specialists on a daily basis.

• Complete expense reports, manage program budgets, maintain event calendars, and track execution against objectives.

• Keep accurate records and inventories of client assets.

• Ensure adherence to all state regulations and the integrity of reported information.

⛳️ Requirements

• 1-3 years of experience in the adult beverage industry is preferred.

• Knowledge of on/off-premise marketing strategies.

• Prior experience with a promotional agency is preferred.

• Strong skills in problem-solving, time management, and organization.

• Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines effectively.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook).

• Must be at least 21 years of age.

• Reliable transportation is required.

• Access to a smartphone is necessary.

• Capability to lift and transport promotional materials and event assets as needed.
