Area Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut.

📋 Description

• Recruit, train, and lead a team of Promotional Specialists to implement on- and off-premise sampling initiatives.

• Oversee daily market execution, including staffing promotions and mentoring Promotional Specialists.

• Act as the local liaison for client field marketing.

• Collect client product and industry insights and report on competitive activities.

• Provide staffing for on-premise, off-premise, and special events.

• Perform regular spot checks to ensure that quality standards align with client expectations.

• Offer training, guidance, expectations, and constructive feedback to Promotional Specialists.

• Address performance issues and facilitate conflict resolution for part-time specialists.

• Oversee promotional material inventories and ensure the return of permanent materials.

• Conduct event debriefs and communicate insights with the Regional Sampling Manager and Directors.

• Manage, monitor, and audit daily budget expenditures.

• Fulfill administrative duties, including expense reporting, calendar management, event tracking, and inventory records.

• Manage client equipment and assets effectively.

• Ensure adherence to state rules and regulations while maintaining the accuracy of reported information.

⛳️ Requirements

• 1-3 years of experience in the adult beverage sector is preferred.

• Familiarity with on/off-premise marketing strategies is essential.

• Previous experience with a promotional agency is preferred.

• Strong problem-solving, time management, and organizational abilities.

• Capability to multitask and meet deadlines effectively.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook).

• Must be 21 years of age or older.

• Reliable transportation is required.

• Access to a smartphone is necessary.

• Ability to lift and transport promotional materials and event assets as needed.
