Area Director – Electrophysiology, Structural Heart

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with Boston Scientific field teams and leadership to identify, prioritize, and activate WATCHMAN LAAC accounts in the designated area.

• Establish and nurture relationships with EP and Structural Heart physicians, key opinion leaders (KOLs), cardiovascular service line leaders, and hospital decision-makers.

• Articulate the clinical, procedural workflow, and economic benefits of 4D ICE.

• Aid in physician education, customer introductions, and strategic account discussions.

• Work in conjunction with Boston Scientific and Siemens Healthineers commercial and clinical teams to address customer needs, deliver and install the ACUSON Origin system, provide training, clinical assistance, and support ongoing adoption.

• Assist in ACUSON Origin capital equipment sales when a system acquisition is necessary for enabling 4D ICE procedures.

• Ensure successful site activation, enhance customer experience, and promote sustained utilization of 4D ICE catheters.

• Identify and cultivate 4D ICE opportunities in mitral, tricuspid, and other transcatheter Structural Heart procedures.

• Participate in the development of joint priority account plans and local market growth initiatives.

• Track clinical trends, competitive activities, customer feedback, and obstacles to adoption; share insights and recommend actionable strategies.

• Act as a representative for Siemens Healthineers in discussions with customers and partners, influencing outcomes without direct authority.

• Ensure adherence to Siemens Healthineers policies, quality standards, and health and safety regulations.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 10 years of proven experience in Electrophysiology and/or Structural Heart sales.

• A minimum of 5 years of capital equipment sales experience with a record of success.

• At least 5 years of leadership experience in influencing cross-functional field teams, clinical specialists, and/or strategic partners; direct management of personnel is not mandatory.

• Proven success in collaborating with channel or strategic partners to enhance commercial adoption and ensure customer satisfaction.

• Experience engaging with executive and C-suite customers.

• Background in building and managing KOL relationships within the EP and Structural Heart domains.

• Familiarity with CRM platforms, forecasting tools, and Microsoft Office applications.

• Strong skills in presentation, communication, relationship-building, and strategic account planning.

• Bachelor's degree or higher qualification.

• Willingness to travel up to 75% of the time.

• Experience in supporting customers and commercial initiatives across extensive multi-state regions.

• A valid driver's license in the state of residence and a satisfactory driving record.

• Ability to work with controlled technology in compliance with US export control laws.
