Architectural Technologist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Create and uphold precise, coordinated Revit BIM models throughout the design, construction documentation, and site coordination phases.

• Model intricate and custom architectural components, such as steel and extruded aluminum primary structures, tensile membrane envelopes, insulated composite panel systems, aluminum and glazing systems, timber cladding and joinery finishes, decks, wet areas, stonework, internal finishes, doors, windows, thresholds, and other specialized elements.

• Generate general arrangement plans, elevations, sections, and detailed construction documents directly from the model.

• Develop 3D junctions and interface studies to address non-standard construction situations.

• Proactively identify and resolve clashes and coordination challenges across architecture, structural, and MEP disciplines.

• Integrate consultant, supplier, and fabricator information into the coordinated BIM environment.

• Ensure model organization, naming conventions, drawing standards, and established BIM protocols are maintained.

• Assist the design team with 3D analyses of custom details and material interfaces.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 8 years of architectural technical expertise.

• Significant experience with luxury hospitality, safari lodges, high-end residential projects, or bespoke architecture.

• Proven experience in resolving complex architectural junctions on completed projects, extending beyond visualization or concept development.

• Experience in coordinating architectural work with structural and MEP disciplines.

• Comfortable with unconventional and custom construction systems.

• Advanced Revit proficiency, including working within and enhancing established project models, families, and drawing environments.

• Strong skills in AutoCAD.

• Familiarity with Rhino, Enscape, Twinmotion, Navisworks, or BIM 360 is a plus.

• Working knowledge of steel and extruded aluminum structural detailing, tensile membrane interfaces, and insulated composite panel systems.

• Solid understanding of tolerances, waterproofing, drainage, thermal performance, fixing strategies, and construction sequencing.

• Keen eye for proportion, material junctions, and architectural finishes.

• Capable of evaluating complex junctions and comprehending how components integrate.

• Able to differentiate between buildable details and those that are only visually appealing on paper.

• Skilled in maintaining architectural intent and finish quality while addressing technical demands.

• Comfortable identifying coordination challenges and suggesting solutions proactively.

• Capable of taking ownership of work packages with minimal daily supervision.

• Comfortable collaborating with architects, engineers, consultants, fabricators, and site teams across various time zones and locations.
