This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.
β’ Design AIStor deployments for federal clients across various environments, including on-premises, air-gapped, sovereign cloud, and tactical edge, focusing on erasure coding, tiering, and replication topology design.
β’ Act as the technical expert on FIPS 140-3, FedRAMP, NIST 800-53, and Zero Trust compliance.
β’ Lead proofs of value, technical demonstrations, and reference architecture design for Department of Defense, Intelligence Community, and civilian agency opportunities.
β’ Offer technical training and architecture support to federal resellers, systems integrators, and technology ecosystem partners.
β’ Function as the technical point of contact for collaborative architecture projects with partners such as NVIDIA, Databricks, and Supermicro.
β’ Oversee the deployment of AIStor across Kubernetes distributions, including OpenShift and Rancher.
β’ Design data infrastructure for AI training, fine-tuning, and large-scale data lake operations.
β’ Provide advice on inference and agentic AI architecture to minimize recompute overhead and optimize GPU usage.
β’ Create reference architectures, technical white papers, and solution briefs to support Federal Partner Sales and partner initiatives.
β’ Collaborate with Federal Partner Sales, Engineering, Support, channel and systems integrator partners, and technology ecosystem partners from proof of value through to production.
β’ Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
β’ 4+ years of experience in a solutions architect, sales engineering, or field engineering position, preferably within cloud, storage, or federal systems integration.
β’ Active security clearance is strongly preferred; the ability to obtain a clearance is required.
β’ Extensive technical expertise in object storage (S3-compatible platforms), Kubernetes, and cloud-native/on-prem hybrid architectures.
β’ Knowledge of GPU-accelerated infrastructure and the data/memory requirements of large-scale AI training and inference workloads.
β’ Understanding of federal compliance frameworks (FIPS 140-3, NIST 800-53, FedRAMP) and environments for Department of Defense and Intelligence Community deployments (air-gapped, classified, DDIL).
β’ Strong technical proficiency with the ability to effectively convey complex architectural decisions to both technical and non-technical audiences.
β’ Experience collaborating with or alongside channel partners, federal systems integrators, and technology ecosystem partners (e.g., NVIDIA, Databricks) is an advantage.
