AR Engineer, Polycold Support

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Deliver both remote and onsite technical assistance for AR / HC equipment.

• Identify and troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and process-related issues.

• Execute preventative, corrective, and emergency maintenance tasks.

• Install, commission, calibrate, and validate various equipment.

• Read and interpret schematics and technical documentation effectively.

• Evaluate equipment performance and facilitate improvements.

• Provide training to customer teams as needed.

• Service and diagnose issues with Polycold refrigeration systems.

• Conduct pressure analysis and leak detection activities.

• Carry out evacuation, charging, and refrigerant regassing processes.

• Ensure contamination control and maintain system cleanliness.

• Assist with Level 1 service operations and protocols.

• Guarantee the availability of tools, spare parts, and refrigerants.

• Take ownership of technical issues until they are resolved.

• Keep service reports and documentation up to date.

• Recognize opportunities for performance enhancement.

• Collaborate effectively with internal teams.

• Travel as necessary (50-80%).

• Aid in training and knowledge transfer initiatives.

• Contribute to ongoing continuous improvement projects.

• Offer broader technical support as required.

⛳️ Requirements

• A degree or trade qualification in Electrical, Mechanical, or Refrigeration, or equivalent experience.

• Certification for the safe handling of refrigerants and regassing is required.

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in servicing, troubleshooting, and maintaining refrigeration equipment in industrial settings.

• At least 2 years of experience with Polycold systems is preferred.

• A minimum of 2 years of experience with AR coating systems is preferred.

• Willingness to travel as necessary (50-80%).

• Adherence to refrigerant handling regulations is essential.

• Compliance with ZEISS and customer safety standards is required.
