This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Process sales orders for new, existing, and renewal SaaS clients using SaaSOptics (Maxio).
• Verify sales orders and contract information across FMX teams.
• Oversee invoice distribution and dunning processes for customers.
• Assist in billing and revenue activities in accordance with company policies and applicable GAAP revenue recognition standards.
• Review contracts for new business and manage related revenue and invoice processing.
• Handle customer churn and contraction requests.
• Monitor accounts receivable aging and aid in collections, including outreach, dispute resolution, and escalation of overdue balances.
• Collaborate with Sales, Customer Success, and Finance teams to address contract, billing, and account-related issues.
• Document and enforce internal policies and procedures.
• Ensure compliance of billed and unbilled revenue accounting with revenue recognition standards.
• Maintain accurate records of customer, contract, and billing information across systems while supporting order-to-cash internal controls.
• Prepare and maintain accounts receivable and revenue account reconciliations; investigate discrepancies among billing, revenue, CRM, and general ledger systems.
• Assist in the month-end close processes for accounts receivable, billing, deferred revenue, and revenue reconciliations.
• Provide documentation for audits.
• Enhance the efficiency, quality, and productivity of the billing process.
• Complete special projects assigned by the Controller or VP of Finance.
• Minimum of 2 years of accounting or related experience in a fast-paced, demanding environment.
• Strong understanding of GAAP, general accounting principles and procedures, and comprehensive business processes.
• Experience with SaaSOptics, Salesforce, and QuickBooks Online is advantageous.
• Familiarity with SaaS business models, billing processes, and subscription-based revenue is beneficial but not mandatory.
• Highly self-driven and detail-oriented, with exceptional organizational skills and the ability to prioritize competing tasks.
• High level of integrity, ownership, and accountability.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, analytical, and planning skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues at all levels.
• Capacity to independently manage routine assignments and adhere to established procedures with minimal supervision.
