This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Conduct research on the actual cash value of vehicles by collecting and analyzing current market data to facilitate fair settlements for theft and collision losses.
• Foster strong customer service and maintain relationships with shops.
• Verify title status and investigate customizations, previous damages, and vehicle condition.
• Recognize salvage-title, grey-market, custom/modified, and previously damaged vehicles to ascertain their true market value.
• Analyze DMV reports and pinpoint ownership-transfer documents.
• Obtain lienholder payoff amounts and Letters of Guarantee.
• Negotiate storage fees with body shops and towing services.
• Address written correspondence and direct requests for the appropriate documentation.
• Stay updated on vehicle valuations, industry trends, state licensing, and company policies and procedures.
• Communicate with adjusters to confirm coverage, identify limit issues or potential fraud, and secure settlement approval.
• Reach out to insured parties, claimants, or representatives concerning total-loss claims.
• Prepare and maintain thorough material-damage documentation and submit timely reports.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• You will need to obtain a Company-sponsored Adjuster’s license to manage claims, which will involve a fingerprint background check, to be completed upon hiring.
• Experience in handling Total Loss claims or a background in customer service.
• Proven proficiency with MS Office applications (Outlook, Word, Teams) and claims-related software.
• Must have a dedicated workspace that is free from distractions.
• Strong understanding of basic principles and practices of Company policies and procedures following formal and informal Claims Training.
• Capability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment, prioritize duties, and produce accurate work results.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to establish rapport through emotional intelligence.
• Self-motivated and accountable while working remotely.
• Must be able to maintain a sedentary position for extended periods.
• Must be able to communicate electronically and via phone with team members, clients, and external stakeholders.
• Must be capable of operating and typing on a computer, laptop, and/or other Company-issued electronic devices for extended durations.
• Must be able to access and utilize the Company computer system, prepare documents, input data, and read computer or email documents.
