Applied AI Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +5 more states.

📋 Description

• Facilitate advanced, hands-on AI discovery workshops with key ecosystem partners, including NVIDIA.

• Perform both technical and business explorations with enterprise clients to pinpoint and define high-value AI workloads.

• Evaluate data architecture, governance needs, infrastructure limitations, security issues, and data gravity challenges.

• Act as a subject matter expert within a regional team and cultivate specialized industry knowledge.

• Create lightweight proofs of concept, reference architectures, technical demonstrations, and solution frameworks.

• Convert qualified opportunities into technical specifications, data requirements, success metrics, architectural suggestions, and defined outcomes.

• Record successful use cases, architectural frameworks, and implementation strategies for future reference.

• Collaborate with enterprise architects, data scientists, platform teams, business stakeholders, ecosystem partners, and Forward Deployed Engineering teams.

• Identify, validate, and affirm technical convictions surrounding private AI use cases for production rollout.

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong technical background in data science.

• Proficient in working with code, APIs, notebooks, development frameworks, and enterprise architectures.

• Hands-on experience with machine learning, deep learning, computer vision, time-series analytics, predictive modeling, anomaly detection, and generative AI.

• Understanding of model architectures, training and evaluation techniques, inference patterns, and production deployment factors.

• Demonstrated experience in technical pre-sales, solution architecture, consulting, customer engineering, or similar roles in enterprise technology.

• Capability to assess data quality, governance, security, compliance, operational readiness, and infrastructure limitations.

• Outstanding ability to engage both technical and executive audiences.

• Experience with Python, APIs, cloud-native architectures, data pipelines, MLOps, and contemporary AI development ecosystems.

• Preferred experience with NVIDIA AI Enterprise, NIMs, NeMo, RAPIDS, or accelerated computing platforms.

• Preferred experience in delivering customer-oriented workshops, design sessions, or architecture engagements.

• Preferred experience in transitioning AI projects from proof of concept to production environments.

• Familiarity with enterprise data platforms, governance structures, and hybrid cloud architectures is preferred.
