This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Design, implement, and develop AI-driven features for enhancing patient engagement, care coordination, claims management, and operational efficiency.
• Utilize Claude Code and relevant AI development tools to create, test, troubleshoot, and sustain full-stack software products.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, engineers, and clinical stakeholders to transform requirements into scalable, user-centric solutions.
• Create APIs, backend services, automation pipelines, and integrate large language models (LLMs).
• Employ software engineering, DevOps, and MLOps methodologies for testing, deployment, monitoring, security, and performance enhancement.
• Assess emerging AI technologies and implementation strategies.
• Assume additional tasks and responsibilities as necessary to support team goals and project success.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science.
• 1–4 years of experience in software engineering, product engineering, or full-stack application development.
• Proven expertise in using Claude Code to develop functional software products, including feature implementation, code debugging, and result validation.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, TypeScript, JavaScript, or similar.
• Experience in developing frontend components, backend services, and APIs.
• Practical experience in integrating LLMs into applications via APIs, prompt engineering, AI agents, generative AI workflows, or retrieval-augmented generation (RAG).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capability to evaluate AI-generated code for accuracy, security, maintainability, and test coverage.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage ambiguity, and contribute effectively in a remote Agile environment.
• U.S. Citizenship is required.
• All selected candidates must successfully complete a background check.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Government/Public Trust clearance, including required fingerprinting, if necessary for the position.

• Additional qualifications include experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud; Docker, Kubernetes, or CI/CD pipelines; Cursor, Codex, OpenAI APIs, Anthropic APIs, vector databases, embeddings, semantic search, or AI orchestration frameworks; deployed AI applications or technology initiatives in healthcare, payer/provider sectors, federal government, or Department of Veterans Affairs.
