This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
• Create, design, and deploy AI-driven features that enhance patient engagement, care coordination, claims management, and operational efficiency.
• Utilize Claude Code and associated AI development tools to construct, test, debug, and maintain comprehensive software products.
• Work in collaboration with product managers, designers, engineers, and clinical stakeholders to convert requirements into scalable, user-centric solutions.
• Build APIs, backend services, automation pipelines, and integrate LLMs.
• Implement software engineering, DevOps, and MLOps methodologies for testing, deployment, monitoring, security, and performance enhancement.
• Assess emerging AI technologies and approaches for implementation.
• Undertake additional duties and responsibilities as necessary to support team goals and project achievements.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science.
• 1–4 years of experience in software engineering, product engineering, or full-stack application development.
• Proven expertise in using Claude Code to create functional software products, including feature implementation, debugging, and result validation.
• Proficient in programming languages such as Python, TypeScript, JavaScript, or similar.
• Experience in developing frontend components, backend services, and APIs.
• Practical experience in integrating LLMs into applications via APIs, prompt engineering, AI agents, generative AI workflows, or retrieval augmented generation (RAG).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, including evaluation of AI-generated code for correctness, security, maintainability, and test coverage.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Capability to work autonomously, navigate uncertainty, and contribute effectively in a remote Agile setting.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, along with Docker, Kubernetes, or CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of Cursor, Codex, OpenAI APIs, Anthropic APIs, vector databases, embeddings, semantic search, or AI orchestration frameworks.
• Experience in developing deployed AI applications or supporting technology initiatives in healthcare, payer/provider sectors, federal government, or the Department of Veterans Affairs.
• U.S. Citizenship is required.
• All selected candidates must successfully pass a background check.
• Ability to secure and maintain a Government/Public Trust clearance, including necessary fingerprinting, when required for the role.
