Applications Engineer II – Lab Applications

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alaska, +6 more states.

📋 Description

• Design, configure, test, implement, and offer ongoing support for applications and services of moderate complexity.

• Deliver specified solutions within the application portfolio with minimal oversight.

• Take ownership of particular application components, workflows, or integrations.

• Utilize judgment within established standards to provide dependable, secure, and scalable solutions.

• Foster and enhance working relationships with internal and external contacts, vendors, and stakeholders.

• Collaborate with colleagues across Providence St. Joseph Health and Services on cross-departmental initiatives and projects.

• Support and integrate the organization’s mission and core values into everyday activities.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Business Management, Information Services, Engineering, CFA/CA, Human Capital Management, or a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Certifications are dependent on the portfolio; where applicable, certification must be obtained within 90 days of employment.

• Equivalent technical certifications may be preferred for non-Epic portfolios within 90 days of hire.

• 4 years of experience in a relevant industry.

• Experience in healthcare, research, consulting, or regulated industry applications.

• Familiarity with supporting production services, including monitoring and incident response.

• Epic experience as required based on the specific portfolio.
