Application Support Engineer, SQL, .Net

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Deliver L2/L3 support for mission-critical .NET applications

• Analyze incidents, debug problems, and implement solutions or minor enhancements

• Troubleshoot, optimize, and manage SQL Server databases, including stored procedures, views, functions, triggers, and intricate queries

• Conduct root cause analysis for application problems, data discrepancies, and performance issues

• Document discoveries and resolutions

• Oversee and support SSIS packages, SQL Agent jobs, and data integration workflows

• Ensure system dependability and data integrity

• Collaborate with development, QA, and business teams on releases, deployments, change requests, and initiatives for continuous improvement

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in Application Support, Production Support, or a related field supporting enterprise applications

• Extensive experience with SQL Server, encompassing query optimization, indexing, execution plans, stored procedures, and performance tuning

• Practical experience with C#, ASP.NET, and .NET Core, including code-level troubleshooting, debugging, and log analysis

• Familiarity with SSIS, SQL Agent, incident management tools like ServiceNow and Jira, and ITIL-based support methodologies

• Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management abilities

• Strong emphasis on accountability and meticulousness

• Proficient English communication skills
