Application / Field Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +10 more states.

📋 Description

• Oversee technical aspects and initiatives for NX Filtration across North America

• Manage technical inquiries from customers, OEMs, EPCs, consulting engineering firms, and end users

• Administer customer and partner accounts from a technical viewpoint

• Facilitate technical discussions, deliver customer presentations, conduct product demonstrations, and lead training sessions

• Assist the sales team with technical assessments, proposals, presentations, and customer interactions

• Prepare forecasts, analyze water quality and operating conditions, and offer technical recommendations

• Act as the principal technical liaison between the North American division and NX Filtration headquarters in the Netherlands

• Supervise the North American pilot fleet and manage pilot maintenance, servicing, and deployment

• Provide support for pilot and full-scale installations, commissioning, start-up, operator training, and performance assessments

• Deliver field engineering and troubleshooting assistance during the execution of pilot and full-scale projects

• Serve as the main technical contact for OEMs, EPC contractors, consulting engineers, and end users

• Travel frequently throughout North America

⛳️ Requirements

• 4–8 years of pertinent experience in membrane/water treatment

• BSc or MSc degree in Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Water Technology, or a related discipline

• Familiarity with water treatment processes and membrane technologies

• Experience in system installation, commissioning, and technical troubleshooting

• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities

• Exceptional communication and presentation skills

• Customer-oriented, proactive, and self-motivated approach

• Willingness to travel frequently (50%) throughout North America
