This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Oversee a team responsible for the installation, updating, and maintenance of medical devices, such as infusion pumps and batteries, in hospitals throughout the United States.
• Maintain constant communication and provide support to hospital staff on-site.
• Plan, test, update, install, and configure medical devices, hardware, software, and networking products.
• Perform routine inspections and document data from product tests following installation and configuration.
• Record and submit daily reports while upholding high standards in product support quality documentation.
• Travel locally, regionally, and nationally to meet customer requirements.
• Work on an assignment-based schedule with a commitment of over 40 hours per week, including potential overtime; hours are not guaranteed.
• Utilize a personal vehicle for job-related tasks, with travel up to 3 hours from home.
• An associate degree, military training equivalent, or comparable biomedical or technical field service experience (3-5 years in the field).
• Proficient computer skills with the ability to troubleshoot project setups, technical issues, and closeouts remotely across various software platforms.
• Strong professional business sense and effective communication abilities.
• Capability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Excellent time management and organizational abilities.
• Valid and unrestricted driver’s license.
• Access to a personal vehicle for local work-related tasks.
• Ability to sit and stand for extended periods and lift up to 70 pounds.
• Must clear hospital vendor credentialing requirements, which include providing proof of vaccination status or the willingness to obtain it if offered.
• Current immunizations may be necessary.
• A valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record will be reviewed prior to hiring.
• Must reside within one hour of a major airport.
• Visa sponsorship is not available.
• Preferred: experience in biomedical, networking, military, or technician roles in the field.
• Preferred: experience in a technical position within a healthcare setting.
• Preferred: familiarity with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and OneNote.
• Travel time is compensated.
