This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +3 more states.
• Implement, maintain, and provide support for enterprise shared software applications in both on-premise and cloud environments, utilizing DevSecOps principles.
• Create and uphold automation for software deployment, scripts for container orchestration, and templates for infrastructure-as-code.
• Set up, secure, and sustain the cybersecurity and compliance posture of hosted solutions.
• Enhance, support, and integrate software build/test pipelines.
• Address application service incidents and work with Level-1 helpdesk teams to develop internal knowledge base articles.
• Collaborate with engineering stakeholders to transition legacy systems to modern platforms.
• Design enterprise-level solution architectures and showcase performance metrics and demonstrations to leadership.
• Work with programs and stakeholder groups to ensure alignment and support for application deployments.
• Establish and maintain service monitoring scripts and tools to optimize operations and maximize uptime.
• Assist with core Software Configuration Management and build capabilities.
• Propel software modernization and cloud adoption through container-based, cloud-hosted, and Git-based solutions.
• Travel occasionally to on-site locations as required.
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience, or a Master’s Degree in a related field with at least 5 years of experience.
• Proven experience in deploying and supporting server-based hosted COTS applications and related databases in an enterprise environment, including tools such as GITLAB, Jira, Azure DevOps Server, and Jenkins.
• Experience in Linux system administration.
• Practical experience with Docker and/or Podman.
• Proficient in troubleshooting commercial server-based application installations, related databases, networking issues, and Web/HTTP concepts, including SSL, certificates, proxies, and REST.
• Capability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government-issued security clearance.
• U.S. citizenship is required.
• Existing DoD Secret security clearance is mandatory from day one.
• Must reside and work from one of the 50 U.S. states, excluding U.S. territories.
• Preferred: Administration experience with Jira, GitLab, and/or Azure DevOps Server.
• Preferred: Troubleshooting CI/CD pipelines in Jenkins, Azure, or GitLab.
• Preferred: Familiarity with Kubernetes, OpenShift, Rancher, Tanzu, or similar technologies.
• Preferred: Experience with Ansible, Chef, or Terraform.
• Preferred: Scripting skills in Bash, Python, and/or PERL.
• Preferred: Experience in deploying and managing applications on AWS or Azure cloud platforms.
• Preferred: Knowledge in vulnerability remediation, disaster recovery, data spill remediation, FIPS compliance, SSL/TLS, and SELinux.
• Preferred: Windows system administration and Java-based application management experience.
• Preferred: Familiarity with SCRUM, Lean, Agile, or Scaled Agile (SAFe) frameworks.
