Application Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Iowa.

📋 Description

• Act as the main technical point of contact for the external sales team.

• Create and design electronic control solutions that align with customer system needs.

• Collaborate with external sales and clients to develop and enhance system specifications.

• Organize design ideas and concepts effectively.

• Develop cost estimates and prepare proposals to support the external sales efforts.

• Comprehend and communicate customer requirements both internally and to manufacturing partners.

• Educate customers and external sales teams on product technologies.

• Offer immediate technical assistance to external sales and clients.

• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of technical products from manufacturing partners.

• Draft scopes of work for customer-specific solutions.

• Size and design solutions involving pneumatic systems, motion control, six-axis robots, and vision applications.

• Carry out other assigned responsibilities.

⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in engineering.

• 0–2 years of relevant experience.

• Proficient in using CAD software.

• Skilled in utilizing Microsoft Office suite software.

• Excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Willingness and ability to travel up to 40% of the time.
