Application Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and maintain API integrations between enterprise IT systems and both financial and non-financial applications.

• Create and oversee automation workflows for user lifecycle management, which includes onboarding, offboarding, and access provisioning.

• Integrate and manage various enterprise tools such as Google Workspace, Darwinbox HRMS, Slack, and other SaaS applications.

• Develop and uphold middleware solutions that support secure and scalable IT integrations.

• Convert IT and business requirements into technical solutions and automation workflows.

• Ensure secure integration practices, focusing on authentication and data handling.

• Keep documentation updated for IT processes, integration architecture, and automation logic.

• Collaborate with Security and Compliance teams to fulfill ITGC, audit, and access governance requirements.

• Design and implement role-based access control and provisioning workflows across interconnected systems.

• Create automation for access reviews, entitlement mapping, and deprovisioning controls.

• Develop integrations with ITSM tools like Atomicwork for automated request, approval, and provisioning workflows.

• Implement event-driven integrations utilizing webhooks and APIs to facilitate real-time updates across systems.

• Conduct data validation and reconciliation between systems such as HRMS and identity platforms.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 4 years of experience in software development, IT automation, or API integrations.

• Strong practical experience with Python or Java.

• Proficiency in working with REST APIs, webhooks, and system integrations.

• Understanding of identity and access management along with user provisioning workflows.

• Experience with SaaS platforms like Google Workspace, HRMS tools, and collaboration tools.

• Familiarity with OAuth 2.0, SAML, and API tokens.

• Experience with IGA tool customization or connector development.

• Knowledge of IGA tools such as Okta and Tuebora.

• Experience with ITSM tools like Atomicwork and ServiceNow.

• Exposure to integration platforms including Zapier, Workato, and MuleSoft.

• Familiarity with Google Admin APIs, Darwinbox APIs, and Slack APIs.

• Understanding of ITGC, SOX controls, and access governance processes.

• Experience working in SaaS or enterprise environments.

• Familiarity with automation scripting and event-driven workflows.

• Development experience with Saviynt or SailPoint ISC/IIQ.
