This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Michigan.
• Convert business requirements and objectives into actionable project estimates and specifications.
• Facilitate the development of competitive and high-quality technology solutions tailored to business needs.
• Document, configure, modify, design, develop, test, and implement solutions effectively.
• Design, develop, test, and implement intricate SQL query statements.
• Design, develop, test, and implement advanced stored procedures at the database level.
• Create, develop, test, and implement custom user/system interfaces and processes utilizing C++, Java, Android, and PowerShell.
• Foster innovation and devise creative solutions to business challenges.
• Assist with customer and enterprise change requests, as well as various project initiatives.
• Plan and facilitate testing processes.
• Collaborate with business partners, external clients, and IT functional teams regarding the product roadmap.
• Gain domain expertise through project involvement, industry publications/events, and self-directed learning.
• Maintain comprehensive knowledge of the Ryder Distribution Management platform and technology offerings.
• Act as the subject matter expert for Ryder technology in Distribution Management during customer presentations and events.
• Conduct product demonstrations and provide solution training.
• Communicate product capabilities and the status of assigned projects effectively.
• Submit weekly status updates along with accurate and timely timesheets and project-related reports.
• Contribute to ongoing improvement and internal innovation initiatives.
• Perform additional duties as required.
• A bachelor's degree is required in distribution management, supply chain, information systems, information technology, or business.
• A minimum of five (5) years of experience in distribution/supply chain management is required.
• Experience in a 3PL/4PL environment is preferred.
• At least five (5) years of experience in information technology and supply chain management systems is required.
• A minimum of five (5) years of experience in supply chain technology projects and the implementation of related solutions is required.
• Five (5) years or more of experience in the use, configuration, or implementation of recognized distribution management solutions is necessary.
• A minimum of five (5) years of experience in designing and coding custom user/system interfaces using C++, Java, Android, and PowerShell is required.
• A well-rounded understanding of the distribution/3PL industry is essential.
• Strong documentation skills for business requirements, functional design definitions, and solution configurations are crucial.
• Excellent client-facing skills and the ability to cultivate internal and external customer relationships are required.
• Capability to conceptualize system configurations and applications to address business issues is necessary.
• Problem-solving skills for complex supply chain challenges are essential.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize, and adapt to changing circumstances is required.
• Ability to work collaboratively to achieve results is essential.
• Flexibility to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment is necessary.
