Application Consultant

📋 Description

• Collaborate with colleagues and management to proactively oversee technology solutions for clients.

• Assist both existing and new clients by guiding them through processes, addressing issues, and ensuring effective product use.

• Provide training to users on system setup, administration, and maintenance.

• Conduct business analysis, gap analysis, root cause analysis, business process reviews, documentation, and requirements gathering.

• Comprehend client business processes and tailor applications according to business requirements and established best practices.

• Manage user acceptance testing and change management initiatives.

• Develop user documentation and prepare handover documentation for support teams.

• Enhance client capabilities and identify opportunities to propose additional products and services.

• Assist Project Managers with engagement contracts, escalation of bottlenecks, and updates on project progress.

• Deliver services effectively to achieve project milestones and optimize resource utilization.

• Offer subject matter expertise to R&D and operational teams regarding client needs, business practices, market trends, and industry best practices.

⛳️ Requirements

• Knowledge of the utility customer (meter to cash) life cycle.

• Understanding of Utility Customer Information System (CIS) processes and functionalities.

• Strong skills in influencing, coaching, and both written and verbal communication across all organizational levels.

• Experience collaborating with both business and IT teams.

• Willingness to travel up to 25% within North America.

• Possession of a current, valid passport.

• Legally authorized to travel internationally.

• Passport-based visa exemption or necessary travel visas for entry into Canada, the United States, and the Caribbean.

• Preferred experience in providing software implementation for the utility sector.

• Familiarity with SQL and experience in system configuration are advantageous.
