Android Developer – Mid-Level

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Design and improve native Android applications utilizing Java and Kotlin

• Implement features while prioritizing quality, security, usability, and performance

• Employ best practices in mobile development and architecture

• Integrate with RESTful APIs

• Collaborate with backend teams, especially on solutions built with Spring Boot

• Engage in technical decision-making and contribute to the advancement of application architecture

• Assist in identifying and resolving technical issues

• Take part in code reviews, advocating for code quality and standardization

• Work in tandem with product, QA, architecture, and business teams

• Participate in Agile ceremonies, including planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives

• Contribute to technical documentation and share best practices

⛳️ Requirements

• Completed or ongoing higher education in Information Technology, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related discipline

• Experience in developing Android applications

• Proficiency in Kotlin and Java

• Experience in consuming and integrating RESTful APIs

• Understanding of mobile architecture concepts, such as MVVM, Clean Architecture, or similar patterns

• Familiarity with version control systems, preferably Git

• Experience in Agile development environments

• Knowledge of mobile application testing, debugging, and optimization techniques

• Ability to effectively collaborate in multidisciplinary teams
