Android Developer – Mid-Level

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Develop and improve native Android applications utilizing Java and Kotlin.

• Implement features prioritizing quality, security, usability, and performance.

• Employ best practices in mobile development and architecture.

• Conduct integrations with RESTful APIs.

• Collaborate closely with backend teams, especially on solutions created with Spring Boot.

• Engage in technical decision-making and aid in the advancement of application architecture.

• Assist in identifying and resolving technical challenges.

• Take part in code reviews to promote code quality and standardization.

• Work together with product, QA, architecture, and business teams.

• Be involved in Agile ceremonies, including planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.

• Contribute to technical documentation and the dissemination of best practices.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree completed or currently in progress in Information Technology, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.

• Experience in developing Android applications.

• Proficiency in Kotlin and Java.

• Experience in consuming and integrating RESTful APIs.

• Familiarity with mobile architecture concepts, such as MVVM, Clean Architecture, or similar patterns.

• Understanding of version control systems, preferably Git.

• Experience in Agile development environments.

• Knowledge of testing, debugging, and optimizing mobile applications.

• Ability to work effectively within cross-functional teams.
