Android Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Portugal.

📋 Description

• Contribute to the design and upkeep of Nutrium’s Android application.

• Work alongside Product Managers, Designers, and Engineers to ensure timely delivery of high-quality product features.

• Engage in the entire feature lifecycle, from development to deployment and continuous enhancements.

• Write clean, maintainable, and testable code.

• Keep abreast of Android trends and tools, applying relevant insights.

• Participate in code reviews, discussions, and team rituals.

• Assist in enhancing a mobile application utilized by over 100,000 users monthly.

⛳️ Requirements

• Practical experience with Kotlin, Java, Android SDK, and standard Android development tools.

• Understanding of common Android architectures such as MVVM, MVI, or Clean Architecture.

• Proficiency in integrating and working with RESTful APIs.

• Experience with Android applications that are compatible with multiple devices.

• Familiarity with the Google Play Console and the app release process.

• Experience with or interest in utilizing Firebase tools and services.

• Fluency in both Portuguese and English.

• Ability to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced product environment.

• Strong communication skills and effective collaboration with cross-functional teams.

• An AI-native mindset with enthusiasm for employing intelligent tools in daily tasks.

• Residing in the north of Portugal is a plus, but not mandatory.
