Analytics Project Lead, Occupancy Planning

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Provide data-driven insights that support real estate strategies, headcount distribution, and space optimization decisions throughout the client's EMEA portfolio.

• Oversee the gathering, validation, and analysis of occupancy and headcount information for regional planning scenarios.

• Ensure that reporting is in alignment with corporate standards and accurately depicts portfolio supply, demand, and capacity.

• Generate reports on space utilization, attendance figures, vacancy rates, headcount projections, and seating demand.

• Create project status updates comparing actual seat demand against projections.

• Report on current supply and capacity while forecasting inventory changes.

• Take ownership of and coordinate the Headcount Forecast Validation process from start to finish.

• Maintain clear workflows and documentation to ensure forecast accuracy and accountability in validation.

• Collaborate with Corporate Real Estate, Business Unit leadership, Corporate Finance, Portfolio Strategy, Transaction, BI, move coordination, facility management, and occupancy planning teams.

• Assist in enforcing space policies, standards, and procedures through analytical insights.

• Highlight exceptions, recognize trends, and present data-driven recommendations.

• Develop expertise in the client's workplace data environment to enhance planning accuracy and improve operational efficiency.

⛳️ Requirements

• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, including the use of complex formulas, pivot tables, data modeling, and automation techniques.

• Knowledge of Power Query, VBA/macros, and data visualization tools is an advantage.

• Capability to analyze intricate datasets, discern significant patterns and trends, and transform findings into actionable business insights.

• Strong attention to detail in ensuring data accuracy.

• Ability to convey findings effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Proven experience with real estate reports associated with real estate strategy, preferably in corporate real estate, workplace strategy, occupancy planning, portfolio strategy, or facility management settings.

• Familiarity with concepts related to occupancy planning and space utilization, including headcount forecasting, desk sharing ratios, vacancy analysis, and space health metrics.

• Experience in project management, including the standardization of processes, coordinating stakeholder contributions, and enhancing process improvement and workflow optimization.

• Strong organizational and time management skills with a proactive, solution-oriented mindset.

• Experience with project management and collaboration tools like Smartsheet and SharePoint, and/or data platforms such as QuickSight is advantageous.
