This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take ownership of comprehensive category insights for key Strategic Account chains.
• Formulate and implement strategies driven by insights to achieve sales volume and profit targets.
• Spearhead analytical and strategic collaborations with senior sales executives, sales leaders, distributor partners, and relevant retail buyers.
• Create and present insights, analyses, and category evaluations.
• Evaluate performance, pinpoint opportunities, and offer actionable recommendations.
• Utilize syndicated, retailer loyalty, and internal data to produce shopper and business insights.
• Design, maintain, and enhance reporting and analytics systems.
• Assess and measure the impact of initiatives, refining strategies accordingly.
• Collaborate with sales leadership to explore growth opportunities related to innovation, assortment, shelving, pricing, and promotions.
• Assist in category reviews, new item and program meetings, business planning, and ad hoc analyses.
• Partner with Sales and the Business Intelligence team, traveling as necessary for customer engagement and business objectives.
• Develop consultative relationships with stakeholders to influence decision-making and execution.
• Work together with Sales, BI, and Marketing on integrated solutions.
• Recognize risks and opportunities and convey implications along with recommended actions.
• Act as a trusted thought partner, contributing innovative ideas for business growth.
• Identify process enhancements and improve team effectiveness.
• Cultivate capabilities and share best practices.
• Provide adaptable support across additional customers or categories as business needs change.
• A BA/BS degree is required.
• 5–10 years of relevant business experience in the CPG industry with a supplier, retailer, or distributor.
• Experience in the beverage alcohol sector is preferred.
• Advanced proficiency in Retailer POS, syndicated and panel data, Retail Link, Microsoft Excel, Nielsen, and/or Circana.
• Proficient in PowerPoint and other Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong analytical, interpretive, and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent data visualization and storytelling skills.
