Analyst, EHR Applications

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.

📋 Description

• Identify the most effective technical solutions for business challenges and processes.

• Ensure seamless integration with both business and technology systems.

• Develop work plans for the analysis and testing of system upgrades, modifications, and enhancements.

• Configure, implement, and maintain technical requirements across development, staging, and production environments.

• Assess work processes and evaluate the feasibility of small to medium project requests.

• Address and resolve operational issues.

• Create specifications and supporting documentation.

• Plan, develop, and execute thorough test scenarios.

• Assist in formulating technology standards.

• Estimate the resources necessary for completing tasks.

• Complete assigned tasks by their deadlines and document any variances.

• Promptly communicate any variances to management.

⛳️ Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in EHR application build, implementation, and support.

• At least 4 years of progressive experience in information services or a mix of information services and direct healthcare experience.

• Experience with small to medium-scale implementations and upgrades.

• Experience in developing test plans.

• Background in information technology or healthcare operations.

• Project management experience in large initiatives.

• Experience in support during implementation and upgrades.

• Experience in applications planning, development, and implementation.

• Technical collaboration experience involving interfaces, hardware, and reporting.

• Epic Systems certification required upon hire.

• Capability to lift and carry 25 lbs.

• Frequent sitting, standing, and keyboard usage.

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Healthcare, or a related field is preferred.

• Preferred: 2 years of direct applications build on the current software version or 3 years of progressive experience in Information Services or a combination of Information Services and direct healthcare experience.
