This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Michigan.
• Lead tailored account experiences for key accounts and Health Care Providers.
• Serve as the main point of contact for customers.
• Establish meaningful relationships and identify common priorities.
• Link customers to Novartis resources to enhance patient outcomes.
• Balance demand generation with strategic engagement of accounts.
• Address and resolve account challenges with customized solutions.
• Develop strategic territory plans that align with shared priorities.
• Drive product demand while supporting patient outcomes.
• Collaborate with territory teammates, field teams, and home-office colleagues.
• Utilize market insights, competitive landscape analysis, and cross-functional knowledge.
• Leverage territory data and market trends to extract local insights and aid pull-through initiatives.
• Lead customer interactions both virtually and in person.
• Facilitate stakeholder planning sessions to tackle complex challenges.
• Provide real-time access support through Patient Specialty Services.
• Employ digital tools and omni-channel strategies for both virtual and in-person customer outreach.
• A bachelor’s degree is required from a four-year college or university.
• Experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, healthcare, or similar industries with large, geographically dispersed sales teams, or comparable complex sales environments in the last 5 years.
• A proven track record of maintaining high performance consistently.
• Experience in navigating and selling to large accounts and key customers.
• Analytical skills to identify, prioritize, and utilize relevant information to address customer issues.
• Ethical leadership skills and the ability to create an environment that promotes ethical behavior and compliance with company policies and laws.
• Candidates must reside within the territory or within a reasonable commuting distance of 50 miles from the territory border.
• Willingness to travel 60–80% across a broad geographical area.
• Capability to drive and/or fly within the territory.
• A fully valid and unrestricted driver’s license is required.
• Associate level: Recently separated from the US Military with 4+ years of military service in a leadership role or limited prior sales experience.
• Territory level: 2+ years of experience in a similar specialty pharmaceutical, biotech, healthcare, medical device, diagnostics, life sciences services, insurance, consumer health, B2B, or sales role within the last 5 years.
• Senior level: 5+ years of experience in a similar role within the last 5 years.
• Executive level: 10+ years of experience in a comparable role within the last 5 years.
• Ability to collaborate across functions within a matrix environment.
• Proficient in communicating clinical product information.
• For dedicated training periods, successful completion of initial training, including a home study of no more than 8 hours per day and 40 hours per week.
