AIS Radiologist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Conduct remote reviews, evaluations, and interpretations of radiographs, ultrasound, MRI, CT, and other diagnostic images submitted digitally.

• Utilize voice dictation software to create diagnostic imaging reports.

• Collaborate with colleagues via the AIS chat group.

• Engage with clients and veterinary professionals through phone, email, Zoom, MS Teams, and other communication methods.

• Interact with AIS technical support and other staff members.

• Take part in AIS clinic rounds, journal clubs, employee meetings, and professional development activities.

• Participate in ACVR continuing education and other relevant ongoing education events.

• Involve in quality control programs.

• Maintain expertise in clinical diagnostic skills and stay updated on veterinary diagnostic methods and treatments.

• Assist with responsibilities related to veterinary teleradiology.

• Contribute to enterprise initiatives and special projects as assigned.

• Adhere to organizational ethical standards and report any concerns or policy breaches.

⛳️ Requirements

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) degree or its equivalent.

• Diplomate status from the American College of Veterinary Radiology (ACVR) or the European College of Veterinary Diagnostic Imaging (EVDI).

• Proficient in interpreting radiographs, ultrasound, computed tomography, magnetic resonance imaging, and nuclear medicine.

• Must hold a valid license to practice veterinary medicine in the respective state.

• Proficient in the English language.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

• Strong dedication to the highest standards of medical quality and veterinary ethics.

• Analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Capability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.

• Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a team, with clients, and with management.

• Ability to work efficiently in a remote setting with minimal supervision.
