Airline Sourcing Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Assist the global sourcing team with property evaluations and market RFPs in line with client requirements for airline business lines.

• Aid in sourcing accommodations and transportation for crew and distressed passengers.

• Carry out assigned administrative duties.

• Conduct site and market inspections to finalize property choices and facilitate assessments.

• Evaluate and develop skills in negotiating RFP terms and pricing.

• Monitor market trends for price fluctuations and report on risks and opportunities.

• Become an expert on the hotel market within the designated region.

• Create pricing comparisons and analyze final hotel and transport alternatives.

• Compile market intelligence reports for smaller cities.

• Identify cost-saving and revenue-generating opportunities in various markets.

• Maintain communication with hotels.

• Assess hotels and transport vendors against client standards.

• Prepare, present, and deliver required outputs.

• Build relationships with hotel and transportation suppliers.

• Travel and conduct hotel site and market visits as required.

• Report directly to the Global Director of Airline Sourcing and work collaboratively with various teams and departments.

• Undertake additional tasks as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• Located in the Philippines.

• Proficient in English; knowledge of other languages is an advantage.

• Strong familiarity with the Aviation and Hospitality Industries is a plus.

• Exceptional interpersonal skills and a customer-oriented approach to building partnerships and alliances.

• Outstanding time management, prioritization, and follow-up abilities.

• Strong negotiation skills are preferred.

• Solid financial understanding and attention to detail.

• Excellent computer skills, with advanced proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

• Capability to learn new platforms and tools.

• Successful completion of relevant pre-employment screenings may be necessary.
