This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ukraine.
• Conduct innovative research utilizing machine learning techniques to tackle challenges in chip design and optimization.
• Design and implement algorithms leveraging graph neural networks, diffusion models, and other sophisticated machine learning architectures.
• Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams consisting of engineers and researchers.
• Present research results at prestigious conferences and in leading journals.
• Create prototypes and validate new methodologies using contemporary machine learning frameworks.
• Contribute to open-source or commercial Electronic Design Automation (EDA) tools.
• PhD with over 1 year of research experience in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related STEM field.
• At least 1 year of experience with contemporary machine learning architectures, including Transformers, Graph Neural Networks, and Diffusion models.
• Proficient coding abilities in Python and C++.
• Familiarity with machine learning frameworks such as PyTorch.
• Minimum of 1 publication in esteemed machine learning conferences (NeurIPS, ICML, ICLR, etc.).
• Preferred: Experience with deep learning on various graph types (general graphs, circuit graphs, molecular graphs, or trees).
• Preferred: Understanding of classical search and optimization methods (Genetic Algorithms, Monte-Carlo Tree Search, Dijkstra's Algorithm, etc.).
• Preferred: Experience with Electronic Design Automation tools, whether commercial or open-source.
• Preferred: Publications in top-tier venues that focus on AI applications in chip design or materials science.
