AI/ML Research Scientist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Armenia.

📋 Description

• Carry out innovative research utilizing machine learning methods for chip design and optimization challenges.

• Create and execute algorithms employing graph neural networks, diffusion models, and other sophisticated ML frameworks.

• Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams comprising engineers and researchers.

• Share research outcomes in prestigious conferences and academic journals.

• Prototype and assess new methodologies using contemporary ML frameworks.

• Contribute to the development of open-source or commercial Electronic Design Automation (EDA) tools.

⛳️ Requirements

• PhD with over 1 year of research experience in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related STEM discipline.

• More than 1 year of experience with contemporary machine learning architectures, including Transformers, Graph Neural Networks, and Diffusion models.

• Proficient coding skills in Python and C++.

• Familiarity with machine learning frameworks such as PyTorch.

• At least one publication in leading machine learning conferences (NeurIPS, ICML, ICLR, etc.).

• Experience with deep learning on graphs (general graphs, circuit graphs, molecular graphs, or trees) — desirable.

• Knowledge of classical search and optimization methods (Genetic Algorithms, Monte-Carlo Tree Search, Dijkstra's Algorithm, etc.) — desirable.

• Experience with EDA tools, whether commercial or open-source — desirable.

• Publications in top-tier venues focusing on AI applications in chip design or materials science — desirable.
