This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Design, develop, and implement comprehensive AI/ML and agent-based systems, overseeing the process from problem identification to production deployment, monitoring, and ongoing enhancement.
• Automate both enterprise and scientific tasks, enhancing system performance through thorough data analysis.
• Collaborate with scientists to create robust data pipelines and ensure the delivery of high-quality training data.
• Create scalable and dependable services on major cloud platforms, implementing CI/CD, observability, and operational excellence.
• Convert customer needs into effective business solutions utilizing data pipelines and statistical models.
• Build and sustain scalable ML infrastructure, which includes training pipelines, feature stores, and model serving systems.
• Contribute to MLOps methodologies, including CI/CD for ML, model versioning, and A/B testing frameworks.
• Conduct exploratory analysis, design and train models, validate results, perform feature engineering, and manage production handoff.
• Construct, analyze, and train algorithms capable of learning from complex, high-dimensional data to identify patterns and create predictive models and applications.
• Document architectures, experiments, and outcomes for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Develop data, model, and agent pipelines, which encompass workflow orchestration, model lifecycle management, and automated retraining and deployments.
• Orchestrate and integrate agent frameworks, containers, web services/APIs, and distributed systems.
• Create and integrate Copilot experiences into existing tools for real-time AI-driven assistance and insights.
• BA/BS degree in Computer Science or a related field, accompanied by 6 years of hands-on experience, or over 10 years of experience in data engineering or a related area.
• Proven experience in designing, building, deploying, and maintaining end-to-end AI/ML systems in production environments.
• Strong understanding of backend system design, APIs, CI/CD pipelines, agent-based workflows, and production support for scalable AI/ML platforms.
• Proficiency in multiple programming languages, inclusive of SQL and Python, as well as ML frameworks.
• Proven track record of meeting tight deadlines and providing accurate estimates for complex tasks.
• Experience in building and deploying production ML systems utilizing ML algorithms, deep learning, and statistical modeling.
• Strong communication skills, capable of engaging with both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Comfort with uncertainty and a preference for experimentation.
• Experience in designing and deploying autonomous AI agents using contemporary LLM frameworks and orchestration tools.
