AI Workforce Enablement Consultant – Contract

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Wisconsin.

📋 Description

• Develop and steer the workforce enablement strategy for AI-based workflow and role transformations.

• Create and implement enablement programs that foster authentic adoption.

• Prepare managers to guide their teams through transitions, covering readiness, support, and challenging discussions.

• Convert revamped workflows into explicit role expectations, required skills, and enablement strategies.

• Construct practical toolkits, engaging learning experiences, and resources for managers.

• Provide advice and facilitate collaboration among Talent, HR, and AI teams.

• Ensure that enablement is established prior to the shift in accountability.

• Assess progress utilizing behavior change, readiness, and friction metrics.

• Continuously enhance the strategy based on feedback from employees and managers.

• Collaborate directly with the lean People team to drive workforce enablement and manage organizational change during an enterprise AI transformation.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in workforce transformation, people enablement, or talent-focused change execution.

• Proven ability to facilitate genuine behavior change, beyond just providing training or communications.

• Proficient in navigating HR/Talent systems, including role design, skills development, learning, and performance management.

• Strong judgment, independence, and follow-through in dynamic environments.

• Capability to identify resistance and customize facilitation and support accordingly.

• Practical curiosity and firsthand experience with AI-enhanced work methods; engineering background is not necessary.

• Consultant-like instinct for creating and facilitating solutions that people will truly adopt and use consistently.

• A mindset of curiosity, adaptability, and a willingness to learn as roles and workflows change.
