AI Technical Product Manager – 100% Remote

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Arab Emirates (UAE).

📋 Description

• Contribute to the development of AI features by interpreting the QV.AC vision into practical use cases, feature proposals, and product specifications.

• Collect user feedback, perform research, and pinpoint significant challenges that AI can address.

• Draft product briefs, user narratives, acceptance criteria, and user journey maps.

• Develop wireframes, mockups, and functional prototypes.

• Leverage AI-assisted tools to investigate and refine product ideas.

• Collaborate with engineers to evaluate technical trade-offs across different devices and models.

• Analyze response quality, latency, memory usage, battery consumption, and privacy implications.

• Aid in prioritizing tasks, defining project scope, identifying dependencies, and managing the backlog.

• Lead assigned features through the development cycle, product review, feedback gathering, and ensuring release readiness.

• Oversee AI products, models, tools, and interaction trends, and suggest pertinent experiments or adaptations.

• Partner with the Product Lead, engineering, design, and other relevant teams to enhance QV.AC, a local, on-device, privacy-focused AI assistant.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 7 years of experience in product management, preferably in AI software products working alongside technical engineering teams.

• Hands-on experience in building, shipping, or prototyping AI-driven features, along with the ability to articulate your contributions and insights gained.

• A solid understanding of AI concepts, including inference, harnesses, model capabilities and limitations, contextual awareness, and evaluation processes.

• A keen interest in local and on-device AI technologies.

• Capability to transform vague ideas into clearly defined user challenges, proposed solutions, and actionable requirements.

• Strong product discernment with a focus on usability, scope, and measurable user benefits.

• Proficiency in developing prototypes using design or coding tools.

• Effective written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to discuss technical trade-offs with engineers and convey them to non-technical stakeholders.

• A proactive and collaborative mindset; comfortable taking ownership, asking questions early, and integrating feedback.

• Familiarity with product analytics, user research methodologies, and iterative software development practices.

• Preferred: Experience with local AI, on-device inference, or open-source models.

• Preferred: Background in developing AI assistants, conversational interfaces, or multimodal functionalities.

• Preferred: Knowledge of desktop or mobile product development processes.

• Preferred: Understanding of peer-to-peer technologies and decentralized applications.

• Preferred: Experience in assessing AI output quality and designing user experiences that account for uncertainty and errors.

• Preferred: Experience working within a distributed team environment.
