AI Technical Product Manager – 100% remote

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.

📋 Description

• Collaborate closely with the Product Lead to further the QV.AC vision.

• Identify valuable use cases, outline AI features, explore product concepts, and partner with engineering and design teams to deliver them to users.

• Convert the QV.AC vision into tangible use cases, feature proposals, and product specifications.

• Collect user feedback, conduct research, and comprehend how individuals utilize AI in their daily workflows.

• Identify significant issues that AI can address and ascertain when simpler solutions are more suitable.

• Draft product briefs, user stories, acceptance criteria, and user flows.

• Develop wireframes, mockups, and functional prototypes to test concepts and convey product functionality.

• Utilize AI-assisted tools to rapidly explore concepts and refine them collaboratively with the team.

• Work with engineers to assess feasibility and technical trade-offs across various devices and models.

• Evaluate the quality of responses, latency, memory usage, battery consumption, and privacy effects on user experience.

• Assist in assessing opportunities, clarifying scope, identifying dependencies, and maintaining a focused backlog.

• Drive assigned features through the development process, address product inquiries, review user experience, and coordinate feedback and release readiness.

• Investigate new AI products, models, tools, and interaction patterns, recommending what QV.AC should test or adopt.

⛳️ Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in product management, preferably with AI software products alongside technical engineering teams.

• Hands-on experience in building, launching, or prototyping AI-powered features, with the capability to articulate your contributions and learnings.

• Solid understanding of AI concepts such as inference, harnesses, model capabilities and limitations, context, and evaluation.

• Genuine interest in local and on-device AI.

• Ability to translate ambiguous ideas into clear user problems, proposed solutions, and actionable requirements.

• Strong product judgment, focusing on usability, scope, and measurable user value.

• Proficiency in creating prototypes using design or coding tools.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to discuss technical trade-offs with engineers and explain them to non-technical colleagues.

• Proactive and collaborative mindset; comfortable taking ownership, asking questions early on, and integrating feedback.

• Familiarity with product analytics, user research, and iterative software development.

• Preferred: experience with local AI, on-device inference, or open-source models.

• Preferred: experience in building AI assistants, conversational interfaces, or multimodal features.

• Preferred: understanding of desktop or mobile product development.

• Preferred: knowledge of peer-to-peer technologies and decentralized applications.

• Preferred: experience in evaluating AI output quality and designing user experiences that consider uncertainty and errors.

• Preferred: experience working within a distributed team.
