AI Response Labeler, Annotator – Italian Specialty

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.

📋 Description

• Conduct side-by-side evaluations of AI-generated answers to identify the superior response.

• Assess responses for accuracy, relevance, completeness, clarity, reasoning, adherence to instructions, tone, and overall quality.

• Analyze content produced in English, Italian, or a combination of both languages.

• Review general-purpose inquiries and answers, web search results, file-based tasks, image-based outputs, content generation requests, and both single-turn and multi-turn dialogues.

• Leverage Italian language proficiency to evaluate terminology, tone, regional nuances, idioms, and cultural context specific to Italy.

• Focus on the overall quality of responses rather than just grammar, translation, or fluency in language.

• Detect unsupported claims, incomplete reasoning, overlooked instructions, unnatural phrasing, cultural inaccuracies, and varying degrees of usefulness.

• Consistently and accurately apply detailed, scenario-specific annotation guidelines.

• Make independent assessment decisions in ambiguous situations.

• Record decisions and provide concise, evidence-based justifications when necessary.

• Complete evaluations within predetermined timeframes and productivity expectations.

• Maintain consistent judgment across a high volume of diverse assignments.

• Engage in training, guided practice, calibration sessions, qualification reviews, and ongoing quality assessment activities.

• Integrate feedback and modify evaluation decisions to meet team and client quality standards.

• Typically, complete a minimum of 25 tasks daily, with each task averaging about 15 minutes.

⛳️ Requirements

• Native-level or professional proficiency in Italian.

• Extensive knowledge of Italian linguistic conventions, regional vocabulary, idioms, tone, and cultural context specific to Italy.

• Strong fluency in English and proficient reading comprehension.

• Exceptional analytical and critical thinking abilities.

• Capability to evaluate content across a variety of topics, formats, and task types.

• Proficiency in assessing factual accuracy, relevance, reasoning, clarity, adherence to instructions, cultural appropriateness, and overall usefulness.

• Ability to discern subtle differences in meaning, quality, tone, and user intent.

• Sound judgment in applying structured evaluation criteria to ambiguous or unfamiliar scenarios.

• Excellent written communication skills with the ability to articulate evaluation decisions clearly and succinctly.

• Keen attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy within established time limits.

• Capacity to learn and consistently apply comprehensive evaluation frameworks.

• Ability to work independently while aligning with shared quality standards.

• Comfort in performing repetitive, detail-oriented tasks for extended periods while preserving focus, accuracy, and consistent judgment.

• Willingness to receive feedback, recalibrate decisions, and adapt as evaluation guidelines evolve.

• Candidates must successfully complete structured onboarding and qualification before commencing production work.

• Approximately 30-day training and qualification period, requiring availability from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Pacific Time.

• Preferred: experience in side-by-side labeling, annotation, comparative content evaluation, or quality assessment.

• Preferred: experience in evaluating AI-generated responses or contributing to model quality assessment.

• Preferred: familiarity with data labeling or annotation.

• Preferred: experience in evaluating search relevance, content quality, factual accuracy, or user-facing digital experiences.
