AI Research Scientist 4/5 – Generative Models, Recommender Systems

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Monitor developments in LLM and generative model research and convert them into actionable opportunities.

• Utilize cutting-edge techniques to enhance summarization quality and LLM-based evaluators.

• Oversee comprehensive ML development processes, including research, model training, and evaluation.

• Enhance generated content for member impact by employing recommendation systems methodologies.

• Collaborate with ML scientists and engineers to embed models within business applications and platforms.

• Simplify complex technical concepts for both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Serve as a subject matter expert to pinpoint high-impact opportunities and outline and implement roadmaps.

• Connect with the internal and external ML community.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven track record of monitoring the LLM/generative model literature and recognizing pertinent advances for real-world business challenges.

• Solid understanding of ML and Deep Learning, particularly in Natural Language Processing / Understanding and Generation.

• Research experience in summarization or generated-text evaluation (e.g., LLM-as-judge methods) is highly advantageous.

• Familiarity with vision models such as diffusion models is a plus.

• Proficiency in one or more LLM post-training techniques.

• Experience with recommendation systems, personalization, or other member-oriented optimization systems is a significant advantage.
