AI Prototyper Residency

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Investigate how cutting-edge AI capabilities can influence the future of Dia

• Transform ambiguous product initiatives into functional software and actionable recommendations

• Assess technical methodologies and clearly articulate the associated trade-offs

• Create interactive demonstrations, evaluation harness experiments, context-engineering experiments, and prototypes of agent architecture

• Engage directly with new models, agent SDKs, and tooling methodologies

• Provide prototypes with transparent architectural decisions for handoff to the product team

• Share insights, methodologies, and demonstrations to guide team perspectives and product choices

• Enhance the prototyping and evaluation infrastructure

• Collaborate with product and engineering leadership while reporting to the Model Behavior Lead

• Identify and propose ongoing exploration opportunities

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 3 years of professional experience in software development

• Background in engineering or product/design with a solid technical comprehension

• Practical experience working with advanced AI models, agents, tools, prototypes, or delivered features

• Capability to showcase and explain projects developed with AI

• Excellent communication skills and emotional intelligence

• Pragmatic, driven by complex challenges, and eager to thrive in a startup setting with rapid product validation cycles

• Minimum of 4 hours of time overlap with team members in the Eastern Time Zone

• Alignment with the company's core values
