AI Project Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee various AI projects and initiatives simultaneously, ranging from proof-of-concepts to long-term governance programs.

• Take charge of project intake, demand management, assessment, prioritization, documentation, tracking, and portfolio reporting.

• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather business requirements, define use cases, set priorities, and ensure alignment on project outcomes.

• Create and maintain executive dashboards and reports that cover project progress, value, timelines, dependencies, and priorities.

• Perform gap analyses to uncover current challenges, future opportunities, and anticipated business outcomes.

• Lead build-versus-buy evaluations and assist in the development of business cases.

• Coordinate cross-functional technology initiatives across departments such as cybersecurity, infrastructure, HR, operations, revenue teams, and other business units.

• Support enterprise AI governance, security, data protection, adoption, and change management initiatives.

• Identify opportunities for process improvements, application overlaps, and potential consolidation or optimization.

• Develop scalable processes for managing an expanding portfolio of enterprise AI initiatives.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in project or program management, particularly within a SaaS organization.

• Proven experience in navigating cross-functional technology initiatives in a SaaS business environment where priorities and stakeholder needs shift rapidly.

• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple concurrent projects or programs effectively.

• Experience in project intake, demand management, prioritization, portfolio tracking, executive reporting, and dashboard creation.

• Excellent executive communication skills, capable of summarizing complex subjects, conveying business value, and influencing decision-making.

• Experience in delivering technology initiatives across various business and technical functions.

• Familiarity with enterprise AI deployment, including insights into AI governance, security, risk, or data protection aspects.

• Proficient with enterprise AI platforms such as Microsoft Copilot, Claude, OpenAI, Anthropic, GPT, or similar large language model technologies.

• Background in participating in build-versus-buy technology assessments and business case discussions.

• Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision and excel in a newly forming organization.

• Strong problem-solving abilities, initiative, and a proactive "get things done" approach.

• Comfortable operating in uncertainty while contributing to the development of new processes and operating models.

• Preferred: Experience facilitating organizational change management efforts.

• Preferred: PMP, PMI-ACP, Six Sigma, or similar certifications.

• Preferred: Experience in a high-growth SaaS environment.

• Preferred: Experience supporting globally distributed teams and stakeholders.

• Preferred: Proven use of AI tools to enhance personal productivity, project management workflows, and business outcomes.
