AI Product Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Engage in full-stack development of the PR platform, serving as the operating system for the PR agency.

• Create an AI agent system aimed at transforming the PR value chain.

• Develop agents to assist PR consultants in their daily tasks, incorporating self-learning loops and multi-agent orchestration.

• Contribute to the design of the system architecture, which includes workflows, data models, interfaces, compliance, and technology stack.

• Enhance the database architecture utilizing both relational and vector databases.

• Share responsibility for the technical foundation alongside a fellow developer.

• Integrate AI into getpress's operations and strategic initiatives.

• Collaborate directly with management, contribute your ideas, and establish technical standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 3 years of experience in software development.

• A minimum of 1 year of experience in developing AI agents and AI components, including memory, context engineering, retrieval, and orchestration.

• Familiarity with frameworks such as LangChain, CrewAI, or LangGraph.

• Proficiency in TypeScript, Python, PostgreSQL, Docker, Git, LangGraph, and GitHub.

• Experience in backend system development using frameworks like FastAPI, Spring Boot, or NestJS.

• Knowledge of container-based and cloud-native architectures, such as Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS or similar technologies.

• Must be based in Germany.

• C1-level German is a plus; B2 level is acceptable, provided there is a willingness to complete a C1 course within the first year of employment.

• Strong skills in SQL, API design, schema design, and query optimization are advantageous.

• Experience in integrating AI/ML models into production systems, with an understanding of model behavior, performance, and limitations, is beneficial.

• Experience in product engineering and assessing requirements from both business and user perspectives is a plus.

• Familiarity with event-driven architecture, such as Kafka or RabbitMQ, is an advantage.

• Experience in agentic development, such as Claude Code or Codex, is an advantage.
