This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Provide operational assistance for SBHG’s responsible and scalable application of artificial intelligence.
• Maintain the governance framework to ensure safe and compliant AI deployment throughout the organization.
• Oversee AI intake processes and inventory management.
• Keep governance documentation up to date, along with risk and approval follow-ups, vendor and regulatory records.
• Assist in project planning, training, ongoing tool monitoring, reporting, dashboards, AI workflows, and issue escalation processes.
• Collaborate with Clinical, Operations, QA, Compliance, HR, IT/Security, EMR, Business Analytics, Finance, and other departments.
• Streamline reviews, decision-making, implementation conditions, and project milestones.
• Report directly to the Senior Director of Enterprise Informatics and AI.
• Travel to various satellite and other locations as needed.
• A bachelor’s degree in business, information systems, healthcare administration, public health, behavioral health, compliance, risk management, data/analytics, or a related field is required.
• A minimum of three (3) years of pertinent experience in AI governance, technology risk, compliance, data governance, privacy, healthcare informatics, or a similar governance role.
• Practical experience in supporting AI governance or responsible AI implementation is essential.
• Proven project management leadership experience, including project planning, timeline management, deliverables tracking, stakeholder coordination, risk and issue monitoring, and implementation follow-through.
• Knowledge of Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK) principles and project management methodologies is required.
• Experience in developing and delivering staff training, implementation guidance, job aids, and other educational resources is necessary.
• Experience in behavioral health, healthcare, or other regulated healthcare environments is preferred.
• Familiarity with business analytics, enterprise data environments/data lakes, information management, and Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems is preferred.
• Artificial Intelligence Governance Professional (AIGP) certification is required.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification and Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP) or a comparable privacy certification are preferred.
• Preference will be given to California residents.
• Must be available to work Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM PST.
• Travel to satellite and other locations is mandatory.
