AI Enterprise Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with Account Executives and Solutions Engineers on key enterprise projects that involve AI architecture, governance, integrations, and intricate technical requirements.

• Facilitate high-level discovery sessions, discussions on AI strategy, architecture evaluations, and technical design workshops.

• Grasp customers’ AI aspirations, business goals, technology frameworks, data environments, security needs, governance models, integration landscapes, and revenue processes.

• Define Gong’s role within clients’ AI ecosystems by utilizing APIs, MCP, Gong Assistant, Deep Research, integrations, and workflow automation.

• Counsel clients on practical AI applications, responsible adoption strategies, and effective credit utilization.

• Provide insights and leadership on AI architectures and optimal practices for leveraging Gong data and capabilities.

• Evaluate data governance, residency, identity and access management, agent permissions, auditability, human-in-the-loop controls, guardrails, and enterprise AI risk.

• Formulate AI value hypotheses and technical validation strategies for build-versus-buy assessment, total cost of ownership, adoption economics, and ROI.

• Position Gong within ecosystems such as Salesforce, Microsoft, Anthropic Claude, OpenAI, and enterprise governance tools.

• Develop customized AI reference architectures, integration patterns, technical roadmaps, validation strategies, risk registers, and implementation advice.

• Act as the leading technical voice in executive presentations, security and architecture evaluations, RFPs, proofs of concept, and technical success plans.

• Convert complex AI concepts, technical trade-offs, and product limitations into business value.

• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Product Marketing, Professional Services, Support, and Customer Success teams.

• Create reusable field resources and empower Solutions Engineers and account teams.

• Provide structured market feedback to Product and Engineering departments.

• Represent Gong competitively against other vendors’ AI solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in enterprise architecture, solution architecture, sales engineering, consulting, AI strategy, or a similar customer-facing technical leadership position.

• Proven track record of working with large, complex enterprises and engaging with CIOs, CTOs, Chief AI Officers, enterprise architects, security leaders, data leaders, and executive stakeholders.

• Proficiency in generative AI, large language models, AI agents, MCP, APIs, integrations, data flows, vibe coding, and enterprise software architecture.

• Familiarity with technologies such as OpenAI, Anthropic Claude, Gemini, Google Vertex, Salesforce, Microsoft, and related enterprise AI solutions.

• Experience in AI governance, responsible AI, data privacy, identity and access management, security, compliance, observability, auditability, and considerations for enterprise deployment.

• Ability to lead architecture workshops and translate unclear business requirements into actionable technical designs.

• History of advancing complex enterprise opportunities through technical discovery, security assessments, RFPs, pilots, and proofs of concept.

• Exceptional executive communication, influence, and storytelling capabilities.

• Capacity to navigate between C-suite discussions and detailed technical designs.

• Skill in translating AI capabilities into quantifiable outcomes for revenue-generating organizations.

• Ability to enable and scale a larger technical field organization.
