AI Engineer – Master

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Create AI solution architectures that take into account performance, scalability, security, technical governance, operational costs, and long-term viability.

• Develop AI-driven products and platforms that align with business goals.

• Design and construct intelligent agents and multi-agent systems, encompassing planning, reasoning, task orchestration, tool utilization, and integration with diverse data sources.

• Build sophisticated Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) architectures utilizing embeddings, vector databases, GraphRAG, hybrid search, reranking, and grounding methodologies.

• Integrate AI solutions with ERPs, CRMs, transactional systems, data platforms, and essential business applications.

• Assess and experiment with LLMs, Small Language Models, multimodal models, and various AI technology components.

• Establish metrics and AI evaluation strategies to ensure solution quality, accuracy, consistency, and reliability.

• Implement observability and monitoring for AI applications, overseeing performance, quality, cost, usage, latency, security, and model behavior.

• Develop LLMOps practices, which include development, testing, versioning, deployment, and monitoring pipelines.

• Serve as a technical reference, influence architectural choices, advocate for engineering best practices, and contribute to the technical advancement of the AI practice.

• Design, architect, and create advanced AI solutions for clients and internal teams.

• Transform emerging AI capabilities into dependable, scalable, production-ready solutions that deliver business value.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related discipline.

• Proficient in English, with the ability to communicate effectively in an international setting.

• Extensive experience in developing and deploying Generative AI solutions within production environments.

• Proven experience in designing technical architectures for complex, mission-critical enterprise solutions.

• Experience in technically leading intricate, multidisciplinary projects.

• Advanced proficiency in Python programming.

• Familiarity with LangChain, LangGraph, Semantic Kernel, LlamaIndex, or similar frameworks.

• Experience with AI platforms such as OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, or comparable technologies.

• Advanced understanding of RAG architectures, embeddings, and semantic search techniques.

• Experience with vector databases like Pinecone, Weaviate, Qdrant, Milvus, or equivalent technologies.

• Proficiency in developing APIs and microservices.

• Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.

• Knowledge of observability, monitoring, and reliability engineering practices.

• Nice to have: experience in creating AI platforms utilized across multiple clients, products, or business units.

• Nice to have: experience in implementing multi-agent architectures in production environments.

• Nice to have: knowledge of Fine-Tuning, PEFT, LoRA, and other model customization techniques.

• Nice to have: experience with Knowledge Graphs and GraphRAG.

• Nice to have: experience with automated LLM evaluation and AI evaluation frameworks.
