AI Engineer, Computer Vision

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants anywhere in the world.

📋 Description

• Acquire knowledge, maintain, and enhance the synthetic data pipeline and automated training system.

• Assume responsibility for a model and enhance it using an agent loop that generates its own data.

• Develop closed loops where agents train detectors and classifiers, validate them against test sets, and refine them with minimal human intervention.

• Create systems that manage field false positives, flag uncertain detections, and automatically correct the rest.

• Spearhead research on vision-language models, fine-tune them for specific applications, and utilize agents to monitor current methodologies.

• Address detection and classification challenges for clients and partners by constructing new models or expanding existing ones.

• Implement agents for QA automation and codebases that autonomously identify and resolve their own bugs.

• Disseminate effective methods among the team and present findings to clients as necessary.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient in advanced English (C1), capable of communicating fluently and managing complex, fast-paced technical and professional tasks.

• Proven experience in designing personal agent harnesses or agentic workflows, with verifiable work examples.

• Familiarity with operating multiple agents concurrently, including managing inter-agent communication, token utilization, and task completion verification.

• Professional experience in software engineering on both Windows and Linux platforms.

• Proficient in using Git and an issue tracking system.

• Experience in fine-tuning or quantizing open-source models, such as training LoRAs.

• Adept at running open-source models locally.

• Understanding of the model landscape from early GPT models to the latest open-source models, including their advantages and limitations.

• Effective communication with team members and clients.

• Enthusiasm for AI and agents, with a readiness to experiment with new tools and concepts.
