AI Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Create and develop scalable applications driven by AI using .NET (C#) and Python.

• Construct and deploy enterprise-level AI solutions that utilize Large Language Models (LLMs), Generative AI, and Agentic AI frameworks.

• Develop intelligent agents and multi-agent workflows by utilizing contemporary agent orchestration frameworks.

• Design and execute Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) solutions, integrating vector databases and enterprise knowledge sources.

• Incorporate AI services into enterprise applications, APIs, and data platforms.

• Develop reusable AI components, services, and accelerators while adhering to engineering best practices.

• Collaborate effectively with product owners, architects, data engineers, and business stakeholders to identify AI use cases and technical solutions.

• Ensure that AI solutions comply with enterprise standards for security, governance, scalability, and performance.

• Perform code reviews, mentor junior engineers, and contribute to the establishment of AI engineering standards and best practices.

• Remain updated on emerging AI technologies, frameworks, and industry trends.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in software engineering.

• At least 2 years of experience in delivering AI/ML or Generative AI solutions within production environments.

• Proven experience in working with enterprise-scale AI implementations.

• Strong expertise in .NET/C# development.

• Strong proficiency in Python for developing AI/ML applications.

• Practical experience with Microsoft Azure services and cloud-native development.

• Familiarity with Azure OpenAI Service, Azure AI Services, Azure Functions, API Management, and Azure storage services.

• Experience in designing and implementing RAG architectures.

• A solid understanding of REST APIs, microservices, and distributed systems.

• Knowledge of vector databases and semantic search technologies.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent verbal and written communication capabilities.

• Ability to convert business requirements into scalable technical solutions.

• Strong collaboration and stakeholder management abilities.
