This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• Develop and manage production-ready multi-agent systems and autonomous workflows.
• Design retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) architectures utilizing knowledge graphs and hybrid retrieval methods.
• Create document-processing pipelines to extract information from complex documents.
• Fine-tune and enhance large language models (LLMs) and multimodal models.
• Construct agent stacks adhering to contemporary standards such as Model-Driven Continuous Programming (MCP) and prompt engineering.
• Develop data-engineering pipelines for preprocessing, entity resolution, and data harmonization.
• Integrate LLM applications with existing systems.
• Assess, monitor, and improve the performance of production AI systems.
• Collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams.
• Transform emerging technologies like LLMs, RAG, agentic systems, graph-based AI, and natural language processing (NLP) into reliable products and reusable capabilities.
• Work alongside Software Engineers, Knowledge Engineers, Data Engineers, Data Architects, and Product Teams.
• Several years of experience with production-ready Generative AI (GenAI) and multi-agent systems.
• In-depth knowledge of agent engineering and frameworks such as LangGraph, AutoGen, and CrewAI.
• Proficient skills in Python programming.
• Experience with LangChain and LangGraph.
• Familiarity with LLM APIs including Claude, OpenAI, and Gemini.
• Experience in fine-tuning, specifically Supervised Fine-Tuning (SFT) and Reinforcement Learning from Human Feedback (RLHF).
• Expertise in document processing.
• Experience in handling both structured and unstructured data.
• Background in data engineering, including ETL processes, preprocessing, and data pipeline development.
• Understanding of production machine learning, encompassing deployment, monitoring, and performance optimization.
• Proficiency in the German language at C1 level or above.
• Strong command of the English language.
• Excellent teamwork skills.
• Preferred but not mandatory: knowledge of knowledge graphs, the Semantic Web, or graph machine learning (ML).
• Preferred but not mandatory: experience with cloud AI platforms and MLOps, such as AWS Bedrock, MLflow, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Preferred but not mandatory: industry knowledge in tax, legal, or finance sectors.
