This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Designing, constructing, and continually enhancing a centralized AI infrastructure for MTG.

• Developing a comprehensive AI/LLM platform for the secure utilization of diverse AI models and providers across the organization.

• Establishing and managing a central AI gateway for both on-premises and cloud-based AI services.

• Incorporating AI tools into the software development lifecycle.

• Integrating local large language models alongside external cloud AI services.

• Crafting a flexible multi-model architecture that aligns with security requirements, costs, and specific use cases.

• Implementing an internal RAG solution for documents, technical documentation, wiki content, and internal knowledge.

• Setting up monitoring, logging, and observability for AI systems.

• Keeping track of current advancements in generative AI, LLMs, AI agents, and AI engineering.

• Transitioning viable new technologies into production-ready solutions for MTG.

• Establishing best practices, guidelines, and reusable components for AI application throughout the company.

• Assessing, comparing, and integrating various AI models and technologies.

• Prototyping and refining new technologies for production readiness.

• Leading technical initiatives within the company and effectively communicating technical concepts.

⛳️ Requirements

• A degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Mathematics, or an equivalent technical qualification.

• Experience with contemporary AI and LLM technologies.

• Practical experience with APIs and integrating various software platforms.

• A solid understanding of modern software architectures, container technologies, and cloud platforms.

• Familiarity with at least one of the following: RAG, vector databases, LLM APIs, AI agents, or local LLMs.

• A keen interest in IT security, data privacy, and secure AI architectures.

• Capability to independently assess new technologies and translate them into productive solutions.

• A structured and solution-focused working style.

• Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate technical concepts clearly.

• Proficiency in written and spoken English (B2 level).
