AI Enablement Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Assess and identify the most suitable AI tools and models for particular engineering challenges throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

• Create, script, and implement tailored AI solutions, internal chatbots, and integrations utilizing the Model Context Protocol (MCP).

• Oversee and evaluate enterprise AI utilization, focusing on optimizing cost, performance, and accuracy.

• Serve as an internal advocate and trainer, educating engineering teams on the effective use of prompts and AI tools in their daily tasks.

• Commit to ongoing learning to remain at the forefront of the rapidly changing AI landscape and integrate the best external innovations internally.

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong grasp of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and how to enhance it with AI technology.

• Extensive architectural knowledge of various AI models (e.g., OpenAI, Anthropic, open-source), including their unique strengths, weaknesses, and context window limitations.

• Proficient scripting and programming abilities (Python, Bash).

• Experience in developing and deploying custom AI solutions, chatbots, and wrapper APIs.

• Familiarity with the Model Context Protocol (MCP) for connecting AI models to local or enterprise data sources.

• Proven experience in implementing telemetry and monitoring for AI usage, including tracking API costs, latency, and efficiency.

• Practical experience in deploying and managing AI coding assistants such as GitHub Copilot or Claude within enterprise teams.

• Experience with AI orchestration frameworks (e.g., LangChain, LlamaIndex).

• Understanding of data privacy and security best practices when transmitting enterprise data to external AI providers.
