AI Director

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines, +4 more countries.

📋 Description

• Develop and implement an AI strategy by creating a detailed roadmap for AI integration across various corporate functions that aligns with business objectives.

• Oversee AI readiness initiatives, which encompass data governance, selection of tools, security measures, and the development of business cases.

• Recognize, prioritize, and execute AI use cases by converting business requirements into cost-effective AI solutions.

• Manage AI transformation projects from start to finish, including planning, budgeting, execution, and operationalization.

• Ensure timely and budget-compliant delivery with quantifiable results.

• Assist in client-facing AI enablement and comprehend client-related AI requirements.

• Establish and enforce responsible AI risk management and usage policies in collaboration with the security team.

• Develop and sustain a network of external AI partners and vendors while monitoring vendor roadmaps and emerging innovations.

• Oversee the budgeting and financial management associated with AI tools, pilots, and projects.

• Monitor expenditure, assess business cases, and evaluate ROI.

• Define and monitor KPIs to measure the impact of AI initiatives, document lessons learned, and identify opportunities for optimization.

• Drive thought leadership on ethical, sustainable, and compliant AI practices.

• Ensure that solutions adhere to quality standards and reflect organizational values.

• Remain updated on AI/ML trends and emerging technologies to foster innovation.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 10 years of experience in technology, digital transformation, or a related domain.

• A Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or a similar field, or equivalent professional experience.

• A proven history of delivering multi-disciplinary strategies within corporate settings.

• Direct experience in implementing AI use cases with verifiable outcomes.

• Familiarity with the entire innovation lifecycle from ideation to scaling.

• In-depth knowledge of the AI/ML landscape with practical collaboration experience.

• Strong communication skills to articulate complex concepts to non-technical audiences.

• A stable, high-speed internet connection, ideally 25 MBPS or higher, with a backup for power or service interruptions.

• Personal computer or laptop with at least 8GB RAM and a Core i5 / AMD Ryzen 3 / 2013 Mac equivalent or better processor.

• Operating system: Windows 10 or higher / Catalina 10.15 or newer.

• Up-to-date web browsers and security software.

• Minimum 500GB/128 SSD storage.

• Noise-canceling headset or earphones and a webcam with a resolution of 720p or higher.

• A designated, quiet, and organized workspace that is free from distractions.
